My GSM shield is not connecting. I have it connected to an arduino mega r3 with the shield male header bent out not connected and a jumper from pin 2 to 10 just like it says to do on the website. I uploaded the send sms sketch and open the serial monitor. It says 'SMS Message Sender' but nothing else happens after that. It is a cloudy day but if it does not connect on cloudy days then this project will be useless. Is there a GSM signal booster I can purchase or build? I will keep it running and see if it ever connects and post an update if it does. I am using blue via btw and have activated the sim card and everything. I am located in Cincinnati Ohio. Thanks.
It seems I am able to connect now. It says it is sending the messages but I am not receiving them. I tried sending them to my sprint phone and to a google voice number. None of which I have received.
