Arduino GSM Shield V2 - Anyone using it in the United States?

Hello Everyone....

I am new to this forum and have tried to searching for an answer before posting a new one regarding the "Arduino GSM Shield V2" compatibility, without any success. Before I buy one, is anyone using the "Arduino GSM Shield V2" on the AT&T network in the United States? I want to make sure it's going to work on the current 4G network. Or if anyone has another product that is affordable that will work with the Arduino Zero (already purchased and arrived), please let me know.

Thank you in advance.
Daniel

You only have to look at the opening page of that board and it clearly WARNS that it only operates on 2G.

Warnining: The GSM Shield works only on 2G network. Check that in your country there is an active 2G Network before to buy it.

On diy release there are some 3G boards, though quiet a bit more expensive, though not yet seen any 4G ones, expect they are around but not in Arduino form.

You need to find out if your current carrier also uses 2G or 3G, or look for one that does.
