I got an easy one for you:
What type of cables do I want to connect to the 0.1" headers on my arduino?
I need a cable to connect from my arduino to the pins on my hd44780
Anyone got a link?

Note sure of the avaliblity of premade cables, maybe someone else can clue us in. However I've found it pretty simple to make up cables using .1" male header strips.
I just cut the strip to the number of pins I need and solder to the short ends of the header pins. I use a multicolor IDC flat cable that I've had around for years.
