Arduino HM-10 ZS-040 bluetooth module problem

I bought this module and it came yesterday. But I can find only 1 information about it.(which is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez3491-v8Og I tried it. But nothing happens.) I tried to connect it but it doesn't respond to AT command. It can see on bluetooth devices list on my phone but I can't connect it. Should I flash it with youtube link above? or have you any solutions for it?

(Sorry for my English.)

You might cut this into two problems

  1. Sending AT commands
  • Do you really need to do that? If not you might leave it till later, and address the important issue.
  • If you do, have you included at the end? I understand it is important
  1. Establishing communication

I understood the HM-10 is a drop-in replacement for the HC-05, but apparently, this is not the case. It appears that you need an app that is specifically written for BLE. Are you using one?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

We need to see your code.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

We need to see how you have connected it.

Also a link to spac/data of the bluetooth unit.

Thanks.. Tom..

1.Yes I included CR and LF, and once it works but when I restart it was turn back to start.
2. I tried 2 apps but it didn't change anything.

I uploaded circuit which is exactly same. I don't write any codes. Actually Idk how to start :frowning:
can you help me?

once it works

Blue tooth only has to work once to prove it is OK. If it won't work the next time, it is time to

check that some other part of the code is not causing the problem
check the wiring.

I notice the code is still a secret.
