Arduino IDE 2.0.0-beta.8 available for download!

A new release of Arduino IDE 2.x is now available for download here:

This release adds a sketchbook sidebar to the IDE. This provides a convenient listing of the sketches in your local sketchbook folder. More notably, it allows you to work with your Arduino Cloud sketchbook from the Arduino IDE.

There's something wrong with both Windows 64 packages. Neither will run on Windows 11.

Hi @Dougie. Try downloading a fresh copy now to see if it was corrupted the first time.

Are you really using Windows 11? I don't think anyone has tested the IDE on it yet. Did you use previous versions of Arduino IDE 2.x on Windows 11?

1.8.15 works OK. 2.0.0-beta.7 works OK. [They were both already there when my laptop got the Windows 11 beta.]

I've retried the download and version 2.0.0-beta.8 has installed OK. Thanks for fixing it.
