I am using the Arduino IDE 2.1.1 and I want to use the "ArduinoISP", but there is no such subcategory ( Programmer) in Tools menu. This option is not available anymore or I have to add a plug-in.
Hi @oktabitt. Which board do you have selected from the Tools > Board menu in Arduino IDE?
I have selected Arduino UNO. I uninstalled and re-installed and worked fine. Thanks for the reply.

The solution was: uninstall and re-install the IDE.
Hi - Just a note I found that using the lates nightly build (3 Dec 2023) of Arduino IDE 2.2.2 for Mac the programmer menu now appears - it appears you still need to remove the cache however
