Arduino IDE 2.3.2 problem with M5stack Cardputer

Hi. Arduino newbie here. Problem configuring new install of Arduino IDE 2.3.2 on Windows 10. Trying to install support for M5stack Cardputer. Adding the supplied URL:-

https://m5stack.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/resource/arduino/package_m5stack_index.json

Gives error "Not all indexes could be updated". Next tried installing the M5stack boards manager (ver 2.1.1), which produced this error:-

Failed to install platform: 'm5stack:esp32:2.1.1'.
Error: 9 FAILED_PRECONDITION: Platform 'm5stack:esp32@2.1.1' not found: getting tool dependencies for platform m5stack:esp32@2.1.1: tool version 0.11.0-arduino5 not found

M5 tech support haven't been able to help. Open to suggestions! Thanks.

(One idea was to try a previous version of the Arduino IDE - e.g. 2.3.1 - but I don't know where to get a copy.)

Is this the "tech support" you used?
support@m5stack.com"

Yes it was. I have made some progress. I installed Arduino IDE 1.8.19 from the Windows Store and all the M5 software seems to have installed normally. The M5 example programs are showing, although I haven't tried any yet. Tomorrow's job! I have reported this ibfo back to tge M5 support guys.
