Arduino IDE acting strange, unuseable

So ive had this problem once before with the 0022 release, but that somehow fixed itself. Now its doing the same thing in the new 1.0 release.

the sofware glitches messing up, its hard to explain, so i made a video:

- YouTube (i had t oleave in a hurry, it might be processing)

thanks for the trouble.

You don't provide useful information - and the video is private.

you know you can downgrade.

as i said, i had to leave in a hurry, sorry, the video works now, should have been hidden.

downgrading doesnt work, the same issue is present there, so it has something to do with my computer, just wondered if anyone else had this problem

it has something to do with my computer

Is it a Mac?

You have too many desktop shortcuts. Also, we can't see a thing that's happening. So why don't you just describe it?

If you get compiler errors with the included examples, I suspect that something went wrong with the unzipping of the IDE files. Make sure that everything is unzipped with full path information and the archive is not corrupted. I don't know if winblows is capable of that. Also if you get graphical oddities try shutting off transparency and useless graphical effects - whatever that is called nowadays. Maybe check for a graphics driver update. If the 'compatibility mode' is still around W7, you should try that as well. Or run it in a VM with xp 32-bit, that works.
