Arduino IDE Green With no Text on Launch

I just updated and installed the Arduino IDE on Kali ARM for Raspberry Pi (Kernal: 4.19.81-Re4son-v7l+) and when I launch the IDE all of the text is missing and I am presented with an Aqua colored window. Even the tooltip bar is blank. Please see attached image. Can anyone help?

Goal end state: I would like to interface the two to write a script that pulls down web content for a grabber sketch to print the contents of the script dropper on a 256x128 screen. The sketch runs fine for displaying rasterized images as dev’d on a Win 10 box.

Hi m_jurrens. I don't see the promised image. Did you forget to attach it? If you click the "Reply" button, you will see an "Attachments and other settings" link that will allow you to post an attachment.
