When I try to install the IDE on Opensuse 13.1 , I get the message "The install link or file you opened does not contain instructions for this version of openSUSE." does anyone know what is going on here?
I was having your same problem, but the solution that I gave was to download the arduino ide from arduino.cc for linux, extract the files and run arduino on root console.
The easiest way to solve that problem is to email the person maintaining the installer. He normally fixes it within 24 hours.
