Arduino IDE installation on mulitple computers in a school computer lab problem

Hello,

I'm desperate for some help on this matter. I'm a high school teacher and would like to use Arduino IDE to teach in my class. My district put in place a new procedure next year that prevents the installation of Android Studio on school computers. I request for this software to be install in a lab of 40 computers. They reject and this is the reason "No silent install switches have been found, also addition l driver needs install. Have comments about the unsigned driver for this having issues."

They also comment that "The problem with this software list is that the software needs to be something we can deploy to multiple computers at once. We cannot have a technician sitting at each computer installing the software manually, one by one. If we cannot deploy the software, then it cannot be used..."

I don't know anything about network or deployment. Please help.

There have been a few posts on both the regular IDE and CREATE online IDE about network installs and a search using the looking glass at the top of the page will gather you some good results.

I understand somebody found a method for CREATE with switches etc for the GPO install.

Pert could probably tell you more about the desktop IDE.
