Just lately, every now and then the IDE becomes laggy, what normally takes 4 - 5 seconds to compile and upload turns into almost a minute before it uploads (windows 7) but as soon as i restart my machine, it's lag free again..
I personally am starting to suspect a problem with my USB bus on the computer side (because the lag would also happen just clicking on the menu > port > comN) so apart from my fix (rebooting it)
anyone else had a similar issue ? (curious...) next time it happens i might go and remove all the USB devices until i find an offender.
