Just sharing some feel good experience.
I just purchased a Mac Studio and after all the searching for a virtual comm port driver, I discovered that I don't need one. LOL, I plugged in a USB A cable into the back of the Mac Studio and connected the USB host end of the cable to the UNO 3 and low and behold if it didn't just freaking work right out the box! Nothing to download!
