Arduino IGBT

Anywone has interfaced an IGBT with arduino with of course appropriate isolation ?
Do you know any IGBT without inner free wheel diode ?

You didn't mention how fast you are driving the IGBT or your voltage and current
requirements. Most of the IGBTs that I have seen at International Rectifier (IR) do not
have a body diode.

Checkout the "IGBT Designers Manual" that is free from IR. I am not sure but On-Semi may make IGBT's too. Both of these companies have excellent design resources.

Many thx jluciani.

Can't find the "IGBT Designers Manual" on IR website !

I have a printed copy. The app-notes in the manual could be as individual files
on the site. The manuals consists of a few app-notes and datasheets for a dozen or
so parts.

Yeah, they said to provide manual as paper via local representative :frowning:

Would you mind give 2 or 3 app-notes reference you consider to be best guide so then I download from Digikey the app-notes ?

P.S I just found that ultra fast one which I need for my solid state tesla coil:

Amicalement

Take a look at the first two app-notes at
http://www.irf.com/technical-info/appnotes.htm#igbt

If IRF will give you a printed manual then I would take
it. I didn't think that anyone gave out printed manuals
anymore.
