Arduino interface with Firgelli LAC board and L16 actuator

I am building a test fixture to cycle coaxial cable connectors. I bought a Firgelli LAC board thinking that their software would allow control of the test cycle. They tell me that I need an Arduino board and software. How will the Arduino board connect to the LAC? What software do I need? Which Arduino board do I need?

The L16 actuator should move 1/4" in either direction for 10 cycles, then return to the midstroke position.
