Arduino IOT Board

Hey everyone!

I'm trying to create an arduino compatible IOT board that I will test with students in my class.

If it becomes a great learning platform I will sell it.

I would like to get a perspective from experts that have a lot of experience with the arduino platform.

This seems like the place.

Thanks,

Carlson

Carefully check the licensing requirements for any libraries that you use if you are going to use them in the code for a commercial product.

Yes, I will do that if it works out.

First I am wondering if any community experts have any board ideas.

Thanks!

If you want an IOT board, start with something like a NodeMCU or WeMosD1.

What does your board do that those do not?

Where in the World are you ?

The hint there is - there is simply no point in re-engineering these boards.

They are a fully-developed, functional module to be used as such in your project. If you need extra functionality, do you so by taking the D1 Mini and mounting it as a daughterboard to your project.
