Arduino + IR = Infrared Coordinates

Hello, I am wondering about how to track ir led's through Arduino, or something. I am thinking about using a webcam or a wiimote, and be able to get the Coordinates, like X and Y of the leds. Can I do this with Arduino? Please Thanks?!

You could capture the webcam image on a PC, but you wouldn't be able to do anything like real-time image processing on the Arduino without some form of hardware add-on, and even then it would be limited in spatial or temporal resolution.

ir led's through Arduino, or something.

This is the sort of thing you can do with a Wii handset. It's blue tooth so that can go through to the arduino through a BT shield, or through your PC and into the arduino through the serial port.
