i just downloaded arduino 2.1.0 on windows 10 but its stuck on a loading screen that literaly takes forever and so i cant use the software, i dont know what to do please help me
Do you see the pulsating Arduino logo?
IDE 2.x requires network access to download e.g. Arduino's AVR board package when you run it the first time. Do you have internet access on the machine where you installed it on? Are there firewall rules that might prevent the access to the internet?
Which operating system are you using?
Did you have a previous install of e.g. IDE 1.8.19 or of an older IDE 2.x?
yes, I see the button logo, I have internet access, I'm using Windows 10 64-bit and didn't had a previous installation
You did not answer the question about the firewall. You can check the logs to see if it blocks the access.
Are you in a corporate setup or using some vpn? Please post the (latest) log (you can find it in C:\Users\yourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Arduino IDE); you can delete all logs after closing the IDE and next start the IDE; let it run for a minute or so and close the IDE).
I'm possibly not the one that can help you with this but others might see something in the log.
sorry if i wasted your time now it works thanks anyway
