Arduino Issue with USB and Power Supply (Using NRF24L01+ )

Hello All,
I have been working on the arduino with NRF24L01+ modules to create transmitter and receiver.

When I test arduino and NRF24L01+ with power supply from my laptop using USB port, everything works fine.

If I remove the USB power supply from my Laptop and use adapter from main supply to power the arduino, everything stops working. Even then LED and PUSH button connected to arduino stops working.

Not sure as what could be the issue. Has anyone observed this behavior. Please help me to rectify the issue.

Hi, have you got a Digital Multimeter?
Measure the USB voltage at the arduino with either power supply and see if there is a difference.

Try another power supply.

What are the specifications for your power supply - volts and amps?
Does it have a compatible connector? Not all barrel connectors are the same.
