Good afternoon fellow forum goes! I have ran into a bit of a snag in my Arduino uno project. I am making a lamp using a 12x led neopixel ring as the light source. however, I can't figure out how to wire it. the directions call for connecting one ground from the Arduino and the ground from my external power source to the neopixel. however, there seems to only be space for one ground (the hole on the neopixel isn't wide enough for both grounds to connect). how do I combat this problem? also, I have followed the instructions on the Neopixel Uberguide and have bought some capacitors, however I am not sure if I put the (+) leg with the (+) on my power source, or put opposites with opposites. I apologize if my inexperience upsets anyone.

Either make an adapter by soldering wires together of use a breadboard. Adafruit sell little tiny breadboards they also sell connectors which join multiple wires.

Yes, + with +.
