Good afternoon, I hope you can help me with my problem.
It turns out that about 4 months ago I started my first semester of electronics, I had to do a project so I bought an Arduino Leonardo. One day I got to connect an external source but I forgot to check that the arduino supported it, I connected a source from 19v to 3.5amp obviously the second burst the voltage regulator "ams1117". As I had almost no knowledge of electronics, I decided to buy another Arduino to complete my work. Now I wonder, is there a possibility to save that arduino? either by changing the voltage regulator, or is it already burned something else?
Thank you in advance for your help.
By the way, does anyone know what the component that is in the red rectangle is called?
