I have a project making a Steering WHeel based on Arduino Leonardo. I've got the components and already coding, but I'm stuck because my Rotary Encoder won't work with Joystick Libary. the encoder I'm using is KY-040. any kind of help is appreciated. thank you.
I think the best results will be obtained by using the Rotary Encoder code or library. There are a lot of examples for you to find and look at.
Yesterday I succeeded in making the Rotary Encoder input into a Gamepad input with the Encoder library installed. and a little help from the AI (I'm really bad at coding). and thank you for reading my forum.

I'm aware that you seem to have solved it 
That can mean several things. E.g. (1) the code does not compile, (2) the code does not do what I expect it to do and (3) other things.
The next time, please be accurate in your description; you might also want to post the problematic code (using code tags as described in How to get the best out of this forum).
really sorry about my English, this is my first time posting on worldwide forum. the code was successfully compiled, and able to uploaded to Arduino.
