Arduino Leonardo

Hello.
i bought aLeonardo board, and upload to him few Examples programs, and now, after a day or two, i cannot program anything, i dont know where is the problem.
i tried to connect it to anouther usb port, to do manual reset just before uploading an Example code.

maybe it related, while the arduino stil in restart mode, i dont see any choises of com port in the upper menu on arduino IDE 1.0.3
Please help me with that.
Thanks

Mishka

Any help please

If you press the reset button, does the 'L' led go brighter and dimmer a few times ?

Sometimes the Leonardo gets stuck if the sketch is sending a lot data to the USB bus.
I have a USBasp programmer, and I write the bootloader into the Leonardo to get out of this situation.

But it might be broken.

Yes, the L led do what he need to do.
i think the problem in software, i just now reinstall the software on the PC, and connect the arduino, while he was in restart mode, i chose Appropriate com port, and burn simple program. its works.
but second time i cannot burn nothing, and while the arduino in restart mode, i cannot choice any com port.
Anybody hear about somthing like this?

Mishka

That's good. It is not broken.

You could try another computer, the Arduino IDE should be able to connect without pressing reset.

But if that doesn't help, writing the bootloader is the only thing I can think of.

When the arduino not in reset mode, i always can check com port, but not to download the program via this port.
Only in rear cases i can chose com port(different from above), while the arduino still in restart mode, and only then i can program it.
I'll try another computer soon, Thanks.
