I'm reasonably sure that I saw a topic with extremely similar content somewhere in the last week. Maybe a search might reveal it and show a solution.
One mistake that is often made is that the crc at the receiving side is calculated over all received bytes (including the crc); it should be calculated over the received data excluding the crc.
