arduino library in wiring

hi, im trying to use the followint libraries from arduino, in wiring

#include <Password.h>
#include <Keypad.h>
#include <LiquidCrystal.h> (for 4 bits)

im very new, so just copy and paste the libraries from arduino into the wiring folder, but hey, it doesnt work,
then checked them the *.h and *.cpp

  • what do i have to do to make the libraries work?,
    tnx

Processing is an application that runs on the PC. How are you planning to connect the LCD to the PC? Or the keypad?

hi, I did some test to connect the LCD in the analog port, using the pins as digital (in the arduino),

the keypad will go in the digital port.

This is already working in the arduino, but i want to port it to the wiring to be able to use the pins available (not using the analog port for example)

  • the question plz, is what i need to change in the libraries to make them work, is avrgcc in both cases, just dont know what i need to fix to make it work in wiring,

  • also could i just include the atmega 128 in the arduino ide (wiring)???

hi, I did some test to connect the LCD in the analog port, using the pins as digital,

the keypad will go in the digital port.

Hmmm. My computer has a parallel port, a serial port, and several USB ports. No analog port. No digital port. Could you post a picture of your hardware setup?

HI,
i think i wasnt clear when i mentioned wiring,
wiring io board
wiring.org.co (the granpa of arduino)
:smiley:

wiring uses processing as well,
maybe this was the misunderstanding
