Arduino Lillypad and Bluetooth Mate Silver

How can I get LilyPad Arduino Simple Board - DEV-10274 - SparkFun Electronics to work with SparkFun Bluetooth Mate Silver - WRL-12576 - SparkFun Electronics? It supposedly is incompatible because the battery charger on the lillypad.
