Arduino load led flashing, failure to upload sketch.

hi all,

Recently i have been having trouble uploading a sketch to my arduino duemilanove on a mac v10.6 running arduino version 022. The load led on the board flashes constantly when pugged in via usb. When I try to upload any sketch "avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding" is returned. any ideas thanks.

Try this...

Hold down the Reset button. Unplug the USB cable. Plug in the USB cable. Click on the upload button for the sketch you want to upload. When you see "Binary sketch size:" in the sketch window, release the Reset button.
