Where can I download a full Arduino Manual? I need something to read when I go to bed.
What manual?
While the definitive manual is yet to be written this is a good start to programming on the Arduino:-

However on page 29 where it says:-
The resistor may be omitted on this pin since the Arduino has one built in.
Do not believe it, you need a resistor for an external LED
Saves PDF for later reading
...and take the bit where it says

That's more of a project workbook than a manual but I will agree that it is a good download.
