What is the maximum amperage for a 12v power supply that i can connect to the arduino Vin ??
can i use a 12v 15A for its Vin ???
Sure. Arduino will only draw what it needs. 30-40mA for a bare board. Regulator will overheat if try and draw too much current at 5V and 3.3V; it's rated for 800mA, but will overheat & shutdown well before that with a 12V source.
ok sir,. so anything even above 15A is good as long as it does not exceed 12V for safety ,,?
i am going to use my PC regulated Power supply to supply my arduino . one of the pin sets there is rated at 12v 13A .,,,
