I can read CANBUS messages (RPM,...etc) from my old diesel car using an MCP2515 module connected to an ESP32 and inserted to the car's OBD2 connector. Could anyone successfully disable the EGR using MCP2515 and arduino? If yes, please share your experience. Thanks.
Why disable the EGR? What's the winning?
If you can find the code for switching the EGR then it might work ( depends if something resets it ) .
But … why ? .. if there is a fault , fix it .
In many countries it will likely be illegal.
