Arduino Mega + 12 Servos (Spotmicro-Projekt)

Stefan

I prefer - especially in technically demanding questions - German as the language, but in order to increase the number of possible helpers, the question text here is also in English:

  1. please don't criticise my own path. I am over 60 and have to choose a shorter route to reach my goal.

Based on my experience with the Uno and my programming experience from a long time ago, I have taken on the Spotmicro as a project.
The printer runs day and night and the Amazon guy already knows me

I hope to get an answer to questions here from time to time.

1st question
How do I connect the 12 servos (mg 996 r) to the board in a sensible way and which power source or which power supply method is the most appropriate?

Many thanks in advance
Stefan

Hello catweazle1959

Take a view here:

Thank you, that looks very good.

That still leaves the question of a reasonable mobile power supply. Would 9V for the Arduino and a 2S LiPo for the servos be a sensible solution?

You can use one 2S for both, just make sure you don't power the servos from the Arduino 5V.

Do you mean Adafruit and Arduino connected in parallel to one S2?

Yes, if it should work standalone, too.
