Arduino Mega 2560 Can't find my port

Hi, i am trying to download some code onto my Mega 2560 but the computer doesn't seem to recognize it, there is no port 5 (Mega 2560) for it, and windows says that something is wrong with my usb hub. I can't seem to get it to work, even though i tried another cord and arudino board. I also checked my drivers and they are up to date. It worked yesterday so i am not sure if the most recent build has a bug that is messing it up or something else.

Why do you think it should be on port 5 whatever that means.

What version of the IDE are you using?

What version of windows are you using?

It is directly plugged into my PC and yesterday under tools it said port 5.
I am using Windows 7 and have the IDE version 1.6.6
