Hi,
I have an Arduino Mega 2560 and a few days ago, it's working well.
I don't know why, but I can't upload code in my arduino.
This is what happens:
see Error.png
I tried a lot of thing proposed on the Internet, but no result.
I'm really tired of this problem.
Anybody have a solution?
Thanks

Hi
Maybe it can be a problem about baudrate. I think if you will take a screenshot in english, you can take better support and help.
In the arduino directory (the one which contains the arduino program, not the sketch folders), go to:
\hardware\arduino\
open "boards.txt"
Find this line:
mega2560.upload.protocol
Make sure that the upload protocol is:
mega2560.upload.protocol=wiring
It is not by default and this can cause issues. Changing the protocol to wiring seems to cure the problem (or at least it did for me).
Is anything plugged into the Mega? (Wires, shield)?

Hi,
I don't think it's a problem about baudrate. I put it at 115200.
I will put an english screenshot in the next day.
Also, I look in the "boards.txt" and it was already correct.
And nothing is plug on my arduino.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
That's the screenshots in english.
Thanks
The windows COM port properties have nothing to do with Arduino. The avrdude ignores them and uses its own.
Could you go to "File->Preferences" and click the check box beside the word "Upload". Then try uploading again. This will give us more information. Post a screenshot of Arduino once the upload is in progress. (You may have to make the Arduino window larger to fit the whole message into the screenshot)
Copy and paste the actual messages. More useful than a screenshot.

A quick thing to try:
(1) Put a wire from the reset pin to gnd on the power header.
(2) Put a wire from Digital pin 0 to Digital pin 1
(3) Open the Arduino Serial Monitor.
(4) Send some characters using the Serial Monitor and see if you receive the same characters back.

Hi Tom Carpenter,
I tried what you say, but it doesn't work.
It send nothing back.
What does it mean?
That suggests there is a hardware fault with the USB to Serial IC on the arduino board.

Is there something to do?
Try a different USB cable.

Do you mean you were able to upload code, but now you can't?
What did you do in the meantime, that might have caused it to fail? What did you connect to it?

I tried different USB cables and it doesn't work.
And yes, I was able to upload code.
I think the arduino doesn't work since I plugged it to a power supply 12V 29A 350W...
I probably made a bad connection...
Is possible to change components on the arduino?

Not without much practice de/soldering tiny surface mount components and the proper tools. Even then it would be near impossible.

Thanks for your help!
To solve the problem, I simply bought another arduino!

I had a similar issue with an Arduino Mega2560.
However the Loop-Back Test was Okay.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=73748.0
The solution was to burn the Bootloader to the Meaga2560.
Apparently the Bootloader was corrupt.

Tom I am having the same issues with my Mega 2560 -- except that I did this, and I am getting the chars back.
However, everytime I try to upload a program, I get a
avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
I already tried these instructions: (https://www.virtuabotix.com/how-to-cure-sudden-uno-death-syndrome/ )
But still no luck: after using the FLIP program, the L led stays on, if I unplug it from computer, it starts blinking again.
The computer recognizes it as an Arduino MEGA 2560 -- I cannot upload anything to it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
