Arduino MEGA and XBee shield

I was wondering if the XBee shield will fit on the Arduino MEGA out of the box?

Yes it will. But you will need to make some modifications to get it to wirelessly program. I am still working on getting it to work myself.

Thanks kiltjim but I was more interested in the physical means of connecting the two boards. Are the pins laid out in a way that I can just snap the XBee shield on the Mega without making any hardware modifications? If so, does anyone know which orientation the shield needs to be?
