You can use the Mega as an programmer with the ArduinoISP sketch. But serial isn't going to the PC then.
You can also burn the bootloader and connect it to serial (and keep the mega reset) but then you don't have auto reset to start the programming so you will have to reset the ATmega328 yourself at the right moment.
So I need to connect the pins respectively to arduino mega and atmega328 in order to program it and connect the arduino onto my pc and upload the code? Or I can just burn the bootloader via the arduino.
To what pins "respectively"?
