I have a new Arduino Mega 2560, and I can't upload programs to it anymore.
I have been able to upload to it before.
I have checked the COM port, Board, and I am running Windows 7 with IDE 22.
When I try to upload, this is what i get:
avrdude: stk500_2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500_2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500_2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500_2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: ser_send(): write error: sorry no info avail
Also, loop back test doesn't do anything, RX TX leds aren't lighting up, and the Computer is able to detect that an Arduino Mega is connected.
I have a similar problem with my Mega. It still runs the last sketch that I put in it but, I can not upload a new one. The IDE just sets there saying uploading but, never seems to do anything. Using 022
I had hideous problems uploading scripts to my Mega from a Vista box. They all went away when I plugged the USB direct in to the PC, rather than via a USB hub. Worth a try.
