Arduino Mega with GPS Shield

Hi

I could use some guidance, however i apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong section. i have a GPS shield this one :

im using it to control a car i had a issue with the servo, in conjunction with the softwareserial library. However after looking online, i figured it would be easier for me to use an arduino mega (as my car uses bluetooth as well).

The issue i am having is that the shield isnt working for my arduino mega however it works for my uno. so i was wondering if it is due to compatibility, if so can anyone recommend the best shield i can use with the mega to get gps locations

Thank you

You don’t say what’s not working but with a Mega remember that:

  • You have various hardware serial options
  • The SPI pins are different so that affects the SDcard

apologies the thing that isnt working is the gps shield, it doesnt seem to be getting the gps coordinates.

We really can't see your computer screen or your workbench. -_-
