Hello to everybody, i got the arduino mega now i try to compiling the first programm but i only see compiling..... and nothing happend.
Please help me.

Usually nothing is a good thing.

What is the program you are trying to compile? Do you have the correct com port selected? Does it say "done uploading" after it compiles? Are you pressing the correct button to actually upload it or are you just pressing the compile button?

Also don't forget to select the correct board in the tools->board menu , i always tend to forget to do that :slight_smile:

I'm trying to compile the first example but i can see only 'compiling' but never saw 'done compiling'.That's happend whens start from harddisk.
Today tried direct from dvd and it works but i don'understand why.....
