Arduino Micro + Attiny85

Hi there, I would like to program Attiny85 with my Arduino Micro , but I can not, I get errors:

Blink.ino:10:21: error: Arduino.h: No such file or directory Blink.ino: In function 'void setup()': Blink:15: error: 'OUTPUT' was not declared in this scope Blink:15: error: 'pinMode' was not declared in this scope Blink.ino: In function 'void loop()': Blink:20: error: 'HIGH' was not declared in this scope Blink:20: error: 'digitalWrite' was not declared in this scope Blink:21: error: 'delay' was not declared in this scope Blink:22: error: 'LOW' was not declared in this scope

Thanks

I predict that this thread gets moved to Microcontrollers.

Without knowing how you got to the point of those errors, did you put an (IIRC) .1uF cap between reset and ground? That's what it took for me on my rev 1 UNO.

Took me some digging to find that one so naturally I don't have a link but I'm sure someone does.

Yes I did, a 10µF...

I guess the micro is the same as the Leonardo, so maybe takke a look at this:

With an Arduino Uno the steps are:

I know it works using IDE 0022 and the old MIT tutorial at http://hlt.media.mit.edu/?p=1229

I know because I did it a year or so ago. But I had to make corrections to my wiring to get it right.

BTW Erni, Karma to you for that 2nd link. :) Is that your site? It is very clear!

Oh thank you, will try tomorrow and let you know :)

Thankyou GoForSmoke, yes it is my site

Attiny85 works correctly now, but only with the 022 version of the Software :
