Arduino Micro Bootloader

Dear All,

I was using Arduino Micro for the last one month. It was working fine. And now when i powerd up the arduino micro & plug in the mini usb for programming, my arduino was not detected. Finally boot loader is not working. Now i need to burn the boot loader to my arduino micro. I have used the file which is in my local disk in the below path.

C:\Program Files\Arduino\hardware\arduino\bootloaders\caterina-micro.hex

But unfortunately it is not programming.

Please guide me to do this & make my arduino micro working!!!!!

It appears to be the same as burning any other Arduino bootloader. You need either an ISP device (the USBasp sells for under $4 on eBay) or use the ArduinoISP example sketch to turn an Arduino int an ISP.

I am having ISP programmer. Using this i tried to burn the boot loader but it fails. Can you please provide the boot loader file for the Arduino Micro

The Arduino IDE knows where to find it:

Select: Tools->Programmer->(Whatever ISP you have)
Select: Tools->Board->Arduino Micro
Select: Tools->Burn Bootloader

In what way does it fail?
