arduino micro breakout board???

anyone know if they make a breakout board similar to the one in this link or if the micro would work with it?

I've just recently created two micro-proto-shields for the Arduino Micro and they're available to purchase through OSHPark: Micro Proto Shield and Micro Proto Shield with SMD

The Micro is my favourite Arduino variant at the moment. I've soldered about 20 of them into projects in the last few months. But it seems nobody else has created a proto shield for the Micro. The SMD version includes a couple of useful surface-mount footprints that are useful for MOSFETs or any 8-pin "SO" chip.

any that have a xbee add on?

You might find the pro mini proto board (the thing in my avatar) in my tindie shop interesting - or maybe not; I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing you're looking for. It's sized for a pro mini, but since the connections to power/ground (or anything else) aren't hard-wired, you can put a micro on there just as easily. Unfortunately, no XBee outline - I've never worked with that.

This gets you the 32U4 you love about the Micro with XBee socket on board. Also has a dual H-Bridge for two small motors or a stepper.

Check their site, they make a lot of niche boards.

Wow, that is one sexy Leonardo-alike

I've had one running code for about 3 years now, and I do like the 32U4. Many say the Leonardo isn't the best board for beginners but I've had no problems.

They are very wishful in thinking that on-board L298 is good for 2A continuous though since that L298 is a Darlington and you can't avoid that 1.4V drop, times two, in each leg. No way that chip will do 5.6W with only the PCB as heat sink.

thats is a nice board maybe not for this project but def something ill consider for the next
