Arduino micro pro bricked , help needed

Hey guys

So I bought an Arduino micro pro TZT clone , the ones cloned from spark fun red micro pros ,and it showed up as a Leonardo in devicemamager. Ignoring that, I installed the micro pro drivers from spark fun and then selected port 4 , 3.3v and uploaded the blink scetch. It flickered for like 2 seconds and since then the board shows up as unknown device , and I can't upload drivers it select ports in IDE , so I assume it's bricked.

Anyway I can bring it back to life and properly set it up again?

The board bears no trademarks or anything other than micro pro in text on the top side and 3.3 and 5 v and v11 stated under it.

Update ,

when restarting the Arduino micro, in the IDE COM9 is shown momentarily , and COM 9 is shown in device manager under ports section as well. But only momentarily. I tried uploading while it's shown but it gets reverted back to unknown device status after a second or two

Which board did you have selected from the Tools > Board menu when you did the upload?

Is there anything else connected than the USB?
Maybe the onboard regulator is falling out?
