Trying to convert a couple of simple servo projects from Uno to Pro Micro controllers. I'm using a servo driver to run 8 servos. I've hooked up the Servo Driver to the Pro Micro on SDA to Pin #2, and the SCL to Pin #3 (A4 and A5 respectively on the Uno), but I get no results. No servo moving. I made sure the sketch knows it's a Micro not Uno. As far as I know the code should be the same.
Do you have the 5V or 3.3V version?
Atmega32U4 5V 16MHz. Voltage when hooked up to the USB is 4.67 at VCC
Did you connect GND?
Did you run the i2c_scanner?
Yes, ground is hooked up, separate 5vdc to driver.
Just ran scanner and no I2C devises found on the Micro.
I2C devise found on the Uno using A5 and A4.
Apparently after 50 years I still suck at soldering. Pin 3 was not making connection, thus no device, thus no work. Sorry to have bothered.
I still prefer leaded solder, but gave up practicing after 60 years due to bad eyesight etc.
Don't worry, a team can be helpful in several ways. Even Gyro Gearloose had its helper...
