Arduino MIDI USB piezo trigger

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I did some small projects with Arduino and that's my next one.

I got a piezo which I want to use it to trigger let's say a drum in my iPhone's Garage Band.

Once I connected a AKAI MPK keyboard to my iPhone via a USB adapter and it worked great with the help of an app called "MIDI Wrench"

I tried to search the web for a similar project but all I got were rather unclear or ultra complicated projects (adding Display and settings), so that's why I'm here.

Just looking for a simple way to connect 1 Piezo via USB to send a midi command to my iPhone using Arduino.

Thanks everyone

Piezo input:

MIDI output to a 5-pin DIN MIDI connector:

Then just connect the USB adapter to the MIDI connector.
