Arduino Mini TimerOne Library

Hi Gang

I was wondering if Arduino Mini will work with the TimerOne Library? If so what pins? The only information I can find is the following;

Cheers

In the pjrc web-link You provided is a chart showing "Uno" and the appropriate pins. This uC pinout should also apply to the Atmeha168 on a "real" Mini: pin out here:

UC pin out: http://arduino.cc/en/Hacking/PinMapping168

Was there some reason you just did not try to run an example on your Mini?

Hi mrburnette

Thanks for the reply. My sketch works fine on my Uno and Nano. I want to confirm that it will work on a Mini (05 Atmega 328) before purchasing. Can you confirm? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Well, you are aware that you can just load your sketch into the Arduino environment, use Tools to change the board, and then do a compile (Validate) without actually moving the binary to a board? If there are no 'core issues' resulting from pin-map issues, then the odds are very high that the under $4 mini will work appropriately. I have about 30 of the little suckers in a drawer that I use for give-away projects. I develop and test on a true-UNO and then download over my FTDI cable to the China clones. So far, stuff works. But life has no real guarantees, does it?

I buy in Qty 10 to get the free shipping. I strongly suggest that you have at least one (1) of a real Arduino board for any particular clone since sooner or later you will need to make a decision on if the hardware or software is faulty... that decision is easier to make if you have an authentic product to validate. Plus, sales from authentic products pays for this support forum... a good thing for us all.
