I just bought a Arduino Mini and a Mini USB Adpater but I can't seem to get a sketch/program to load. I'm using Windows XP. I followed the directions for installing the software and wiring the board and I think that part went well. I found a USB Serial Port on COM4 and set the software to that. I set the Tools->Board to the mini. When I try to upload a small yellow LED blinks on the usb board and it never seems to get further than that. I've read the troubleshooting guide and some other posts here but that still didn't seem to help. I disabled my firewall just in case, still no joy.
On the mini USB board the jumper is on both pins. Is this correct? I couldn't find anything that said how this should be set on the mini board. Any suggestions?
