Hello, I ran across a post that let an arduino with a Screen to mirror a windows pc screen. Since I can not post on there because the topic is closed I have to start my own topic. Here is the reference for the other topic. [Making a mini USB LCD PC monitor](Making a mini USB LCD PC monitor](https://making-a-mini-usb-lcd-pc-monitor). I have the same screen and I have tried to install the software from the site here https://q61.org/en/chibimo/build/. I can not get the software installed keeps failing. Not sure why. If anyone has tried this if it worked or not? I have tried this on a windows xp system, windows 7 as well as windows 10 and 11. Same thing.
Edit: I saw another topic or post that had a python code running with arduino to mirror a pc screen. I can not seem to find that one at the moment to try it.
Same thing as I posted. There is another topic like this I can not find that kind of does the same thing. But it works with python and arduino to do it. This one uses a exe program to make it work. The exe doens't want to install no matter what I do it keeps failing.
This is true. However I don't have raspbery pi and the ones I did have I gave away to friends of mine who are working on there own projects. I got away from the whole pi thing. Unless its for like a the pi pico on arduino is the only one I use to day.
I was considering opening the old topic and merging this one with it. However, the old one is very old, the final post being in May 2014. It is such ancient history that the final post is
Windows 7 pro (32/64bit) can run programs in compatibility mode for windows versions (Vista,XP,98/ME/2000,windows 5 and i think windows 3.1)
You just need to right click on the icon or .exe file.
which illustrates how irrelevant the information that it contains is, so I wont be merging them
