Hello, everyone! I am implementing a GSM project using arduino MKR GSM 1400. I have a confusion regarding the CHRG LED. Iread the documentation here CHRG LED in order to understand its role. My confusion is that even though I haven't connected any battery to the board, since I am powering it using an external laboratory power supply at 5V, the LED starts blinking sometimes which indicates that the charging of the battery has been suspended due to some reason. Well, how can that happen considering the fact that no battery is connected to the board ? Note that the program execution of the microcontroller keeps running without any problem. Looking forward to any feedback. Thank you in advance!
That is happening because the voltage is at a level that it determines that the battery needs to be recharged. A schematic, not a frizzy thing would help. What is the nominal voltage? Try setting the voltage to that assuming you are powering it via the battery terminals.
