Arduino MKR1000 Blynk servo control

I want to be able to control a servo with Blynk, but I don't know how to connect the Arduino with Blynk in the code. I tried finding it on the internet, but everyone is using NodeMCU and/or ESP8266 and I'm not using any of these. Does anyone know how I can do this? Are the NodeMCU and ESP8266 necessary?
