Arduino MKR1000 special forum location

Hi: i won an MKR1000 for the contest. I gather that there is a special forum for me to view. I have not been able to get onto this forum. How do I do it? I have been waiting for and ID or something that was to have been sent to my email.
Thanks,
Art Wagner

I'm in the same boat.

No documentation and trying to reverse engineer this device from the ground up is just going to take more time than I've saved by getting a 'free' mkr1000 in this contest. I've already spent perhaps 2 hours just trying to load a hello world sketch onto the mkr1000 without success. I've put it on the shelf until I can read a 'getting started' doc on using this device.

Great work!! I appreciate that you went the extra step and provided info about the wifi library in your tutorial.

thanks,

Hi Josue,
I received the email with the link to the form earlier last week, but after 10 days I'm still waiting for an invitation to join the pre-release forum.

Andrea

Their lack of follow through on this contest is terrible. Twice they've promised to email when something was done. Twice I've had to contact them instead.

This is the form you need to fill out to be added to the forum.

This is the mkr1000 forum
.

Thanks for the Getting Started, charif.

Having been trying to get Windows 10 to recognize the MKR1000 for about a week - no luck. Have tried most of the troubleshooting tips posted in various places. Applied to private forum, but never received an invite. Tried it on a MAC - same deal.

After doing the Arduino SAMD boards (32-bits ARM Cortext-M0+) install, version 1.6.4, via Boards Manager, never do see MKR1000 show up.

Thanks for the tutorial.
I can't replicate your results on Windows 10 or Mac. Can see MKR1000 on COM 3 via Windows Device Manager, but attempts to download sketches always result in "Access is denied". After doing the SAMD install (version 1.6.4) , never do see MKR1000.

charif, you still haven't fixed the error I pointed out over a month ago(as well as multiple people in the comments of your tutorial):

pert:
Thanks! I think you might need to change one thing: The only Arduino SAMD Boards version that will add the MKR1000 entry to the Tools > Board menu is 1.6.3. In your tutorial you don't state which version needs to be installed and Figure 2 shows 1.6.4 installed.

It's great you made a tutorial but please make the extra effort to actually provide the correct information.

You need to install Arduino SAMD Boards version 1.6.3. MKR1000 support was removed in 1.6.4.

Hello everybody.

I know the Arduino mega has a 1.1V inner refVoltage you can use to measure the battery voltage. I want to know if Arduino MKR1000 has the same 1.1 inner refVoltage to measure the battery voltage level.

thank you for your support.

i cant connect to my mkr1000 with windows remote arduino experince via wifi. with usb it is ok. it gives the same error the device failed handshaking procedures. all libraries are the latest ones.

Hi,
I am making a basic WiFi hello world program to let me know when MKR1000 is connected and disconnected from WiFi and when it is connected to client and when disconnected. but its not working. i am using WiFi101 library and modifying the basic AP example. i put serial.println at different steps to show me the statuses. can someone share a basic code to show me when MKR1000 (as AP) is connected via WiFi and when disconnected and also when a client is connected and disconnected.

zeesh1979, there is a dedicated MKR1000 forum

And please don't cross post ( Where to start with Genuino MKR1000? - #4 by zeesh1979 - Programming Questions - Arduino Forum )
